I recently got an IPhone and was disappointed in myself for downloading apps that were mostly created for girls under 13.  You wanna give a cartoon girl a make over?  How about go on a digital shopping spree and strut your stuff in a phony fashion show?  I got an App for that.

It’s is pretty just like this. And I am not kidding and have no shame.

And as much as I have learned that she causes unrealistic body expectations for impressionable young girls, sometimes I just wanna go play with some Barbies.  In fact it is one of the top reasons I want to have kids, in hopes that it is a girl and I can play Barbies with her in a socially acceptable manner (I am a terrible person, but I admit it -so it’s fine.)

You’re a girl and sometimes you just need to put on a cute dress and drink tea with your stuffed animal friends, dammit.

So this season channel your inner Princess and stock your closet full of ruffles, frills, lace, pastels, florals, and girly silhouettes.
