Strange Magic is an art show and installation by Tavi Gevinson and  Petra Collins which started last week @ Space 15 Twenty.  It was the last ‘hurrah’ of the ROOKIE ROADTRIP and we were so stoked their last stop was LA. Swaychic’s stomping ground to finish things off.  A few coworkers went last Saturday for the opening night celebrations and insisted on going back the following Saturaday,  aside from the fact that it is an amazing art show, the theme for that event was “Prom Night” , Tavi being the prom queen of course.

 Um HELLO? We obviously had to go – this time with camera in hand!  What’s prom without some funky cool music playing? Well the indie band “Bleached” covered that and sure rocked our lace ruffled socks off. As we made our way around through the night, we kept drooling over all the good art that was being displayed. Not to mention how hard it was not to notice everyone in character in crazy cool prom garb.  Whether it was their dresses, shoes, head wear, or even rings, everyone looked amazing.
Now the question is, who spiked the punch?
